Webinar Topic

Kingdom Building

Hero Maker is the theme for Exponential 2018. It is based on Five Essential Practices for Leaders to Multiply Leaders from the book Hero Maker by Dave Ferguson and Warren Bird. These five essential practices include multiplication thinking, permission giving, disciple multiplying, gift activating, and Kingdom Building (the topic of this webinar). Most leaders measure success by what they accumulate, build and leave behind here on earth.  They see themselves as the hero at the center of their own story.  Hero-makers focus on who they catapult forward beyond themselves to have an eternal impact in God’s unfolding story.

Kingdom Building is a shift in counting. Instead of counting the people who show up at “my thing,” you begin to count the leaders whom you send to go out and do “God’s thing.” There are more people going to church in the United States than ever before, which may make us think we’re winning. But it’s entirely possible for a church to be growing, but its impact to be shrinking. God is concerned about more than our attendance and financial numbers.  He cares about our fruitfulness in seeing transformative impact, and our stewardship of the resources he entrusts to our care.

Join Ed Stetzer and Larry Osborne as they discuss Kingdom Building and measuring personal success!
