As a worship leader of over 15 years, Autumn released her first single, “Sound of Rain” last year and has ministered in stadiums of over 70,000 for worship and prayer gatherings. Autumn is actively involved in her community working with city leaders as an advocate for women’s voices to be heard as well as speaking on the topic of confidence for both men and women. Recently, she has partnered her efforts with Danielle Strickland and the Women Speakers Collective to prepare, practice, platform and profile women speakers. Autumn also serves as the West Coast Divisional Field Director for Stonecroft Ministries. Her role trains, coaches and empowers women to share the gospel in their communities. You’ll find Autumn at local coffee shops with her husband Daniel and enjoying time with her 4 kids Samuel, Aiden, Canon and Aria. Autumn will also be speaking at the Southern California Regional conference, Oct 2-4.
Hero Maker is the theme for Exponential 2018. It is based on Five Essential Practices for Leaders to Multiply Leaders from the book Hero Maker by Dave Ferguson and Warren Bird. These five essential practices include multiplication thinking, permission giving, disciple multiplying, gift activating, and Kingdom Building (the topic of this webinar). Most leaders measure success by what they accumulate, build and leave behind here on earth. They see themselves as the hero at the center of their own story. Hero-makers focus on who they catapult forward beyond themselves to have an eternal impact in God’s unfolding story.
This webinar is on Permission Giving, the second practice in moving from hero to hero maker. You begin to take the focus off your leadership and begin to see all the leadership potential God has put around you. I see what God can do through my own leadership shifts to I see what God can do through others, and I let them know what I see in them. It’s a shift in seeing: “I see this gift in you,” and “I see God at work in you when you . . .” Ultimately, Jesus gives us permission, saying, “My Spirit is going to come, and you’re going to be My witnesses to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Essentially, He says to us, “I see in you the potential for leading a movement that will bring My people to me both on earth and in paradise.”
Join Ed Stetzer, Danielle Strickland, and Autumn Katz as they discuss Permission Giving and measuring personal success!
