What is missing from many of our efforts and strategies? Doing it Together! We are all very familiar with the Great Commission and the challenge to “Go.” There has been much taught on the Great Commandment and the need to go with “Love.” But it is the last part of Jesus’ mission – which was Jesus’ final prayer – that we have forgotten. It’s the Great Collaboration – that we are to go in love Together!
“…that they may be one as we are one – I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me…” John 17:22-23

In 2011, at age 30, Dr. Charlie Edward Dates became the youngest Senior Pastor at Chicago's Progressive Baptist Church; a church celebrating a distinctive 100-year history. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities at Progressive, Pastor Charlie serves as an Affiliate Professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and on a number of boards for Christian organizations, including Preaching Magazine and TogetherChicago.
Dave Ferguson is the lead pastor of Community Christian Church, an innovative multi-site missional community that is passionate about "helping people find their way back to God." Community has grown from a few college friends to thousands every weekend meeting at eleven locations in the Chicago area and has been recognized as one of America's most influential churches.
Jon is the co-founding pastor of Community Christian Church in Chicagoland where he provides leadership in new ventures. COMMUNITY has grown from a handful of people to a church with hundreds of leaders and thousands of people celebrating at locations throughout Chicagoland. In addition, Jon led in the launch of NewThing, a church-planting movement, whose mission is to be a catalyst for movements of reproducing churches that includes over 1000 churches and sites in the US and abroad.
Homero Garcia is pastor and founder of La Iglesia Comunidad Cristiana, Spanish-speaking church located in Mundelein, Illinois. He has helped plant twenty churches and is in the process of planting more. Homero was born and raised in Mexico and immigrated to the USA years ago to study at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife Claudia have been married for twenty-seven years and have three children Kevin, Kristian and Kacey.
Drew Hyun is the Founder and Pastor of Hope Church Midtown, as well as the Founding Pastor of Hope Church NYC, a family of diverse churches in and around NYC. Drew has also co-founded the New City Network, a network of urban churches that value multi-ethnicity, Spirit-filled ministry, emotional health, and mission.
Watson Jones III is the Senior Pastor of Compassion Baptist Church on Chicago’s Southside. He served as the Lead and Founding Pastor of Restoration Church of Philadelphia. Watson’s church planting experience was chronicled by This American Life and The StartUp Podcast. Before starting his church, Watson served in a dual two-year church-planting residency with Epiphany Fellowship in North Philadelphia and Fellowship Associates in Little Rock, Arkansas. Watson is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in African American Preaching and Sacred Rhetoric.
Scot McKnight -- husband to Kris, father of two adult children (Laura, Lukas) and two grandchildren -- is professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary, where he directs the New Testament master's and doctoral programs. He is the author or co-author of more than 80 books, including A Fellowship of Differents and, with his daughter Laura Barringer, author of A Church called Tov.
Ed Stetzer is a professor and dean at Wheaton College who also serves as Executive Director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. Stetzer has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches, trained pastors and church planters on six continents, has earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates, and has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is regional director for Lausanne North America and publishes research through Mission Group.
Albert Tate is the co-founder and lead pastor of Fellowship Church. After hearing a call from God to plant a Gospel-centered, multi-ethnic, intergenerational church, Albert and his wife LaRosa planted Fellowship Church in January 2012. Their hope for Fellowship is to cultivate a community of disciples who are being transformed by the Gospel, Growing in a life of worship, Gathering in community, and Giving their lives away on mission.
Dave and Ann Wilson
Dave and Ann have been married for nearly 40 years and have spent the last 33 teaching and mentoring couples and parents across the country. They have been featured speakers at FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember® marriage getaway since 1993 and have also hosted their own marriage conferences across the country. Cofounders of Kensington Church—a national, multicampus church that hosts more than 14,000 visitors every weekend—the Wilsons are the creative force behind DVD teaching series Rock Your Marriage and The Survival Guide To Parenting, as well as authors of the recently released book Vertical Marriage (Zondervan, 2019).
Hosanna Wong is an international speaker, author, and spoken word artist sharing captivating stories of a powerful God with churches, conferences, prisons, & other events around the world. She is passionate about empowering this generation to know who they are, boldly live out their purpose, and reveal God’s love to the people right next to them. Her latest book, How (Not) to Save the World, releases August 2021.
